After Hinamori escapes the cell she was held at, she is headed towards 10th Division Captain - Hitsugaya Tōshirō. It is then revealed that in the letter Aizen left her before he was found dead, he told her that the true intention behind the execution of Rukia is to get the power of the execution blade, which originally has the power of a million soul slayers, but during the execution itself the blade is as 10 times more powerful than the original state.

In the letter it also says the name of the one behind the whole plot: 10th Division Captain - Hitsugaya Tōshirō. Hitsugaya, who doesn’t understand how could Aizen write such things about him, defends against Hinamori, and then goes after Ichimaru, who watched the whole thing. Meanwhile, Ichigo completes day one of his training and is getting prepared for the 2nd day.
